Orlando Bloom has come a long way from his elfin days playing hot Legolas in the first Lord of the Rings movie (which turns 15 this week). On Tuesday, Orly upgraded from elf to Santa Claus status when he and girlfriend Katy Perry got all dressed up to visit kids at the Children’s Hospital Los Angeles. Katy of course was Mrs. Claus. The hospital shared some sweet photos from the couple’s visit, which included selfies, carols, gifts, and even a solo drum performance from Orly himself.

As Us Weekly notes, Kaitlin Bell, whose son has been receiving care at Children’s Hospital L.A., shared on Instagram a photo she took with the couple. “It was so beautiful, I’m so very thankful an [sic] we got news we get to go home tomorrow,” Kaitlin wrote.
