The 2017 Oscars has just come and gone and we noticed something major about the results. After last year's #OscarsSoWhite backlash, the Academy seemed to rectify the situation with an extremely diverse list of nominees and winners. Viola Davis' first Oscar win (Best Supporting Actress, Fences) just made her the only black actor to receive acting awards from the Oscars, Emmys, and Tonys aka the triple crown of acting.
