In a YouTube vlog posted on June 17, Park Min Young shows off her cooking skills as she prepares a delicious meal for Parents' Day.
Before she heads to the kitchen, she arrangers her own floral center piece—made up of daisies and carnations—for the dinner table. She picks up a wilted daisy and says goodbye to it before adding, "It kind of looks like my hairstyle. There's no volume whatsoever." LOL!
She's making dinner in her office, where there is limited kitchenware so Min Young wants the viewers to manage their expectations: "It won't be perfect, but I will try my best. At least try to make it edible."
On the menu are steak, pasta, and salad, which she describes as "the most basic things you can cook." Haha! Min Young begins by making Caprese salad, which is typically just sliced fresh mozzarella, tomatoes, and basil but her version also has baby greens. Effort, 'di ba? ;) While waiting for the water to boil to cook pasta, she sings a couple of lines from Red Velvet's "Red Flavor" and pati ako napakanta!
While draining her noodles, she turns to the camera and says, "What kind of pasta do you like? I like...all kinds." GURL, SAME. And it turns out, she likes to use *a lot* of garlic when she cooks. A girl after my own heart!
