Following the global success of the Netflix original Squid Game, another K-drama is topping the streaming platform’s ranking charts worldwide. All Of Us Are Dead is the latest Korean offering to the zombie genre and it certainly did not disappoint! The drama’s popularity has also catapulted its relatively unknown cast into stardom. Undoubtedly the breakout star of the show, Park Solomon or Lomon has captured viewers’ hearts everywhere as the fiercely loyal and athletic Lee Su Hyeok. Can’t get enough of this ~handsome~ actor?
Here are 10 facts you need to know about Park Solomon:
1. Park Solomon was born on November 11, 1999.
This makes him a 22-year- old Scorpio! Those born under this star sign are naturally curious, persistent, and passionate about the things they’re into. In an interview with AtStyle magazine, Lomon shared how his personality has helped him become a better actor, saying, "I try to concentrate. I tend to work hard when there are things I need or must do. I usually watch a movie or watch a drama three times. At first, I watch it lightly and mainly for fun, then the second time I see things I missed, and the third time I see things like the character's habits. We are supposed to have a detailed approach to acting to create a character."

2. He’s from Uzbekistan.
According to Dispatch, Lomon is actually Korean-Uzbek. He spent most of his childhood in Uzbekistan before moving to South Korea when he was in 5th grade. Lomon’s eagle-eyed IG followers have also noticed him wearing a Soviet military uniform costume in a childhood photo he posted (ICYDK, Uzbekistan was formerly part of the Soviet Union). In some interviews, he even introduces himself as "Lomon from Uzbekistan!".

Lomon’s not-so-typical *handsome* visuals have often been compared to that of SHINee’s Minho and NCT’s Lucas.

3. He originally wanted to be a K-pop idol.
With a towering height of 183 cm (6 ft.) and dashing good looks, Lomon could easily pass as a K-pop idol. It turns out, he actually dreamt of becoming one! Lomon talked about his love for dance and what eventually led him to pursue acting instead: "When I was young, I was obsessed with b-boys and learned b-boying. I went to practice every day and actually did a few b-boying performances. I liked that feeling when I stood on stage and I had a desire to become an idol singer who performed on stage someday but I was not good at singing. I decided that I didn't have much talent as an idol singer so after consulting with my parents, I switched to acting classes."
While we have yet to see proof of his dance skills, his All Of Us Are Dead co-stars revealed he often showed off his b-boying skills on set.
4. Park Solomon started acting in 2014.
Avid K-drama fans may have already spotted Lomon as the younger version of their fave male leads. In 2014, he played the young Lee Hong Ki in the fantasy-romance drama Bride Of the Century. He also acted as the young Kim Rae Won in Doctors.
Lomon started getting attention after portraying Yoon Si Wan, a psychopath high school student in the 2017 action thriller Lookout. He starred alongside Sweet Home’s Lee Si Young, On Your Wedding Day actor Kim Young Kwang, and SHINee’s Key.
5. He landed his first-ever lead role in Sweet Revenge.
Lomon took on the role of Shin Ji Hoon, the most popular boy in school who *unsurprisingly* falls for the shy female lead. His competition? ASTRO’s Cha Eun Woo who acts as himself in the drama!
6. Park Solomon speaks Chinese.
Here’s an interesting fact: Lomon learned the language to prepare for the main role in the C-drama Lookism. Loosely based on the Korean manhwa of the same name, the drama is about an unpopular student named Tuo Wen Shuai whose fate changes when he gains the ability to switch to a *more* handsome and athletic version of himself.

You can watch the 38-episode drama on WeTV.
7. He couldn’t stop crying on set because of a particular All Of Us Are Dead scene.
ICYMI, a beloved character turns into a zombie in episode three. During the drama’s press conference, Lomon revealed he was actually super emotional when they were shooting that specific scene: "At that time, my best friend dressed up as a zombie and died. Seeing my friend die felt like I was saying goodbye. I felt sorry and thankful. That’s why I was so emotional."
8. He’s a V.I.P.
Lomon is a certified fanboy! He is a self-proclaimed fan of the legendary boy group BIGBANG. He even attended the group’s Macao concert during their 2016 Made V.I.P tour.

9. He’s on Instagram @lomon991111.
Prior to starring in All Of Us Are Dead, can you believe the actor only had around 350,000 followers? As expected, Lomon has gained new fans globally, with his follower count reaching 2.5 million (and counting) following the drama’s success. New followers can expect a lot of behind-the-scenes snaps of the cast as well as occasional workout videos.

10. Park Solomon is reportedly starring in a new drama alongside Shin Ye Eun.
According to a Korean news site, Lomon is being considered for the lead role in the drama Third Person Revenge opposite Shin Ye Eun. The drama will be produced by Studio S and is in talks to be streamed through Disney+.
