If there's one Thai star you need to keep your eye on this year, it has to be Peach Pachara. A certified multi-hyphenate, he is an actor, musician, businessman, and philanthropist. And while he isn't a household name in our local entertainment—not yet, at least—his excellent business acumen has led to him bringing some of the most popular Thai beauty brands over to our country. His last name, Chirathivat, might be *familiar* to people who keep up with the business industry. His family owns Central Group, a Thai multinational conglomerate with subsidiaries in retail, property development, brand management, hospitality, and food and beverage sectors.
Fun fact: The Chirathivat family ranked number four in Forbes' "Thailand's 50 Richest" 2023, with a total net worth of $12.4 billion (approximately P726,956,200,000). In comparison, the Filipino billionaire who ranked highest on Forbes' World's Billionaires list for 2024 was Manuel Villar (who has a net worth of $11 billion). Woah!

2. He was born on May 10, 1993 in Bangkok, Thailand.
Peach is currently 31 years old, and he is a Taurus. According to Co-Star, Tauruses are grounded, logical, and love to be in control. That sounds about right for a successful businessman like Peach!
3. He graduated with a degree in International Business Administration in 2015.
In his early years, Peach spent some time studying abroad in England, but when he grew older, he enrolled at the prestigious Chulalongkorn University to study business administration. It looks like the entrepreneurial mindset definitely runs in the family, as Peach himself is also a successful businessman in his own right, though he wasn't pressured by his parents in any way to work in the family business. "My parents really gave me the freedom to be whoever I wished to be... We, as a family, believe in hard work. So, I ended up creating my own expectations," he noted in a press release.
His biggest and most successful venture is co-founding Potato Corner Thailand. Yep, he brought over our locally beloved fries to Thai shores, and they instantly became a hit! Their menu includes the flavored fries we all know and love, plus more Thailand-adjacent food offerings. They currently have over 100 (!) branches in Thailand, giving residents plenty of locations to choose from.
Over in the beauty space, he's part of Future Glow Philippines, the team that brought popular Thai skincare brands SNAILWHITE and Oxecure, both of which are already well-received by the local market. According to Peach, the climate, skin concerns, and beauty standards in the Philippines and Thailand are similar, so it made sense to bring their homegrown brands that target these into our own market.

Also part of Future Glow's portfolio is TRIZIE, a Thai wellness brand that offers scientifically-blended beauty supplements. Peach also revealed in the press release that the team plans on expanding its viral Thai herb inhalers, food supplements, and collagen powders and jellies.
"We will expand assertively in [these] emerging categories because we see the trend already happening in Thailand. I'm confident that Filipinos will enjoy and be excited with our new brand launches and campaigns," he shared. We can't wait!
5. He is an established actor in the Thai entertainment industry.
The 31-year-old actor first burst into the scene with the SuckSeed and The Billionaire in 2011, and his career trajectory has not stopped since then. His most recent series, The Believers, debuted at number one on Netflix Thailand and is set to return for a second season!
The Believers is about three young entrepreneurs whose startup ends up in debt. To pay back their massive dues, they stage a ~risky AF~ scam by exploiting the loosely regulated donation systems to Buddhist temples. Peach stars as Game, while Teeradon Supapunpinyo (of Bad Genius fame) stars as Win, and Achiraya Nitibhon as Dear.
6. He is a musician and music producer.
Aside from acting and working on his various business ventures, Peach is also a talented musician! In fact, he formed his own rock band, Rooftop, after his acting stint on SuckSeed.
His inclination for music also led to him forming Viveka and Vehement with Pakorn "Beam" Musikaboonlert, a fellow Thai producer and composer.
