Eight years after perhaps the most unforgettable edition of the Miss Universe competition, Miss Universe 2015 titleholder Pia Wurtzbach reunited with former 2015 Miss Universe Colombia Ariadna Gutierrez for another high-profile event.
Pia and Ariadna were former pageant rivals at the 64th Miss Universe Competition, and on December 20, 2015, pageant host Steve Harvey mistakenly announced that it was Ariadna who won the pageant when, in fact, it was Pia. Pia became the third Filipina to win the prestigious crown—followed by Catriona Gray in 2018!
Captioning her recent IG post, "The reunion you’ve all been waiting for. [wink emoji]" the two queens walked side by side on the streets of Milan. Photographed by Pia's makeup artist Justin Louise Soriano, their fellow beauty queens and pageant fans alike couldn't keep their cool.

Miss Universe 2016 Iris Mittenaere is all of us when she said "LOOOOVE IT [heart eyes emoji]." "This is powerful! Love this [pink heart emoji]," Miss Universe 2017 Demi-Leigh Tebow commented. Miss World Philippines 2018 Katarina Rodriguez excitedly gushed, "When the universe aligns!!" Miss Universe 2020 Andrea Meza also chimed in with "I looove this".
Miss South Africa 2023 Natasha Joubert continued to spread the love, replying to Pia's caption with "YES WE HAVE!" and including several sobbing emojis (which, *mood*). Miss Universe Philippines 2nd Runner-Up Angelique Manto summed it up with two words: "Queen things," followed by fire and clapping emojis.
Miss Universe 2015 2nd Runner-Up (and Miss USA 2015) Olivia Jordan was another source of positivity in the comments section. "Love to see it!!! Both of you are sheer PERFECTION!" she said, capping it off with multiple heart eyed emojis.
It seems like we got even *more* photos of the girls together, as after Ariadna wrote "Almost 8 years" (complete with sobbing and red heart emojis), Pia was quick to reply "see you again tonight [red heart emoji]."
Ariadna uploaded two photos of them together on her Instagram Stories. In the first one, she wrote: "It's been almost 8 years since the last time we were together [white heart emoji] so happy to see you again @piawurtzbach" to which Pia replied, "I woke up and said "let's attract good things today!" and this queen came my way [red heart emoji, smiling emoji] what a beautiful surprise! Ary your aura is glowing [sparkles emoji]"
In her second IG Story, Ariadna dubbed their reunion "When time makes sure you meet the right people once again [heart gesture emoji] @piawurtzbach" Pia echoed the sentiments by saying "the timing was perfect."
