Aww! This Couple Had A Fun Kiddie Party-Themed Wedding At McDonald's
Newlyweds Manuel and Gale Luna have always had a special relationship. They began dating in college, and after separating, reunited as a couple five years later. Manuel proposed to Gale at a Moira Dela Torre concert—however the singer actually thought Manuel was proposing to her! Check out the adorable moment:
When it came to their nuptials, the couple originally planned for a church wedding in Roxas City on May 20th. However, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the couple opted for a civil ceremony on June 16th instead. Yet getting all dressed up in unbelievably hot weather wasn't their idea of the perfect day. "Naka-Americana ako, tapos siya naka-gown." So while thinking of alternative wedding locations during a meal at McDonald's, they asked each other "why not here?" "Parang win-win na rin kasi yung dream natin na magkaroon ng party nung bata tayo, we can have it on our wedding day."
The couple said McDonald's was actually the perfect location because nearly everything was provided—from the projector, to the wedding arch, to the reception souvenirs (each guest went home with a Happy Meal!). "When the wedding happened, parang iba na talaga e. It feels like a magical place."
Love is indeed sweeter the second time around. Congrats to the newlyweds!
