ICYDK, one of Asia's most eligible bachelors—Brunei's Prince Mateen Bolkiah—is officially off the market! The 32-year-old married the love of his life, Anisha Isa Kalebic, in a lavish royal wedding.
Festivities lasted from January 7 to January 16, 2024. The "Powdering Ceremony" took place on January 10th, and the couple legally tied the knot on January 11, the fifth day of the extravagant celebrations.
Celebrity makeup artist Denise Ochoa actually did Anisha's soft and radiant bridal look, so we were happily surprised to learn that another Filipino creative took part in the royals' special day.

Famed Filipino photographer Mark Nicdao lensed the official wedding portraits of the royal couple. "Prince Abdul Mateen and Yang Mulia Anisha Rosnah. Congratulations to you both and to our brothers and sisters in Brunei. Thank you for trusting in me for this portraits. I am deeply honoured," he captioned his post.
The first photo was actually shared by Prince Mateen on his personal account: "Wishing you all the best for 2024," he wrote. The photo hard-launched their relationship on social media and also coincided with their official engagement announcement.

Mark shared another shot from the engagement photoshoot in his IG carousel. The photo isn't cropped, unlike the official portrait, so the stunning architecture of the pointed keyhole archway perfectly frames Prince Mateen and Anisha.

In the same IG carousel, Mark also shared solo portraits of Brunei's newest royal couple. Prince Mateen was pictured sporting his full military regalia, while Anisha wore more traditional attire in a flattering shade of pink. Her diamond-studded bangle and brooch perfectly complemented her stunning engagement ring.

These photos quickly circulated and were picked up by local and international media. The Borneo Bulletin even released a commemorative special edition of their magazine on Sunday, January 14 solely focused on the royal wedding! "So happy," the photographer commented via Instagram Stories, tagging the prince as well.

Here is Mark looking dapper in a fitted black suit and tie, standing beside the bride and groom wearing their wedding attire from the January 11 ceremony. Standing to the left of the prince is musician Badi del Rosario, son of Bruneian Prince Jefri Bolkiah, also known as Bones Frankestein.
Prince Jefri is the elder brother of the Sultan of Brunei, Hassanal Bolkiah. Prince Mateen is the Sultan's tenth child and fourth son.

Congratulations on this amazing achievement, Mark!
