Jinkee Pacquiao is one proud and sentimental mom to Princess Pacquiao (full name Mary Divine Grace Pacquiao). Princess received her high school diploma this year, and recently left for London to pursue a college degree.

In an Instagram post, Jinkee expressed her appreciation for Princess and shared her heartfelt send-off as her daughter embarked on this new chapter. Like many parents whose children are taking their first steps toward independence, Jinkee and the rest of the Pacquiao family couldn't hold back their tears of joy.

"Alis na si Princess for college. Wala gyud na sila nagbulag sukad karun lang na mag eskwela na sa London si Princess. hilak pud ang inahan nag tan aw sa ilaha. [Princess is leaving for college. They’ve never been apart until now, when Princess will be studying in London. The mother is also in tears watching them]," Jinkee captioned.

The video captured the Pacquiao family's close bond, showing how Princess' new journey is both a moment of pride and an emotional transition for them all. After all, it’s an incredible achievement to head off to college, especially abroad. Because studying overseas is not just about education, it’s a significant step toward independence and individual growth, making it all the more meaningful for Princess and her family.

Princess Pacquiao Starts Her College Journey In London

ICYDK, Princess finished high school in Brent International School in Laguna. While the family have not disclosed which school in London and what course Princess will be taking, studying in the UK can be quite expensive.

According to a report from the UK British Council, international undergraduate tuition fees range between £11,400 and £38,000 (approximately P836,196.95 to P2787323.15). It's important to note that undergraduate courses typically last three to four years, and these figures can vary depending on the specific school you attend.

In addition to tuition, other costs to consider include the UK student visa, which costs £490 (approx. P35,941.80). As an international student studying in the UK without dependents, the UK British Council estimates that should expect to spend around £1,300 to £1,400 (P95,355.79 to P102,690.85) per month on living expenses in London, or between £900 and £1,300 (P66,015.55 and P95,355.79) in other parts of the UK. These expenses include accommodation, bills, groceries, and other necessities throughout your studies.
