Marriage isn't always about the romance and good times. It gets ugly and sometimes difficult. So if the going gets really tough, Priscilla Meirelles reminds all of us that there's just so much that a woman can take in a relationship.
In an episode of Fast Talk With Boy Abunda, Priscilla got candid about her current relationship with her husband, actor John Estrada.
"We're married pa rin...but I'm not gonna take it anything of what I already put up at to this point. So, alam niyang nasa limit na ako. So, whatever happened from this point on, it's all on him. I've done my part," she declared during the talk show.
Without going into the specifics of their situation, she reflects on how she reached the edge, and how she learned how to prioritize her peace of mind.
"Darating ako sa panahon na lahat ng tao may limit, sa limit ko. So kailangan ko na sabihin sa kabilang side na tama na. And dumating 'yung panahon na 'yan. So 'yung nangyari naman, pwede kong ma-share na at the end of the day, 'yung pinakaimportanteng bagay sa buhay natin, peace of mind," she narrated.
The former beauty queen added, "Kung wala kang peace, hindi ka pwedeng mabuhay, we cannot [function.] Darating ako sa panahon na 'yun, I cannot function. Kasi I was not happy."
Priscilla strongly expressed that her experience taught her to focus on her happiness as a woman. "Kung gusto nila i-pursue 'yung happiness nila, kasama ko. 'Di ba kasi kung ayaw nila, edi different roads [na] tayo. Sinabihan ko mga tao na, nasa limit na ako."
It's worth noting that the two experienced a rough patch sometime in 2023. Priscilla admitted that she has done everything as a wife, to make their marriage work. "Sa buong experience ko being isang asawa, ginagawa ko lahat. As in lahat. Beyond and above," she proclaimed.

In March 2023, speculations about John's infidelity towards his wife circulated online. The allegations became a hot topic after Priscilla dropped cryptic messages on her Instagram stories.
Priscilla shared a photo on IG with the text, "Married men/women who chase single boys/girls are seriously so pathetic!" She then asked her followers an *intriguing* question: "What to call a woman that entertains [a] married man?" Neither of the two commented on the brewing rumors back then.
Aside from that, she even reposted an Instagram video that contained the quote, "Guys, close your eyes. Imagine you have a daughter. Imagine she is dating a guy like you. Did you smile? No? Then change."

Towards the end of March 2023, in interview with PEP, Priscilla confirmed that she and John have been going through a rough patch in their marriage for a while now. She also hinted that it was triggered by a third party. "I constantly pray for strength and wisdom and hope for better days ahead, but the truth is, napuno na ako," she shared in the interview.
Months after, she broke her silence again with a meaningful post that read, "The sun sets, but new beginnings arise," she wrote, featuring dramatic photos of herself on a ship, looking out at the open sea. "If there is something I have learned in this lifetime, it’s never too late to start anew." Since then, the two have pacified the public's interest in their marriage through events and social posts showcasing their peaceful relationship.
Priscilla and John got married in February 2011 and are now parents to their one and only daughter, Anechka Estrada.

During the Fast Talk With Boy Abunda episode, Priscilla also talked about her healthy relationship with John's kids with his former wife, Janice de Belen. John and Janice have four children together namely, Inah, Moira, Kaila, and Yuan.

Priscilla disclosed her close relationship with her stepkids. Although, they call her "ate," she treats them as her kids, whom she will always support and love.
"I'm very close with the kids. I've seen them growing up. 'Yung tawag nila sa akin, "ate." They're very sweet. Every time I go to trials, they're always there for me... I'm a phone call away, text away. I'll be there for them." Priscilla openly shared.
True enough, John's kids with Janice have been expressive of their love for Priscilla. Amid their 2023 marital problems publicly going around, Inah de Belen sent her a sweet message online.

On the other hand, Priscilla admitted not being able to build a close relationship with Janice, her husband's ex-wife. But that doesn't mean that they are not on good terms. In fact, Priscilla revealed that during a dark time in her life last year, Janice reached out to her and offered comfort.
"Last year, actually nag-reach out siya sa akin. Woman to woman, she was very kind. I appreciate that," she said before clarifying that she's absolutely not the reason why Janice and John broke up many years ago. She added, "I admire her for that. She's a wonderful person."
Moreover, Priscilla open-heartedly threw praises for Janice. "I think woman to woman, she can feel me. I think she understands where I'm coming from. She appreciates the fact that I'm good to her kids. They love me and I love them."
