Good morning, and please let me direct your attention to the most important royal news of the week: It was recently revealed that Queen Elizabeth owns a fake hand-waving machine, and is "thrilled" by it, which I am literally dying over.
People reports that the machine was given to Queen Elizabeth years ago when she visited Australia, and was from a group of students as a gag gift. After all, all of that polite waving must get tiring after a while!
According to Princess Anne, the Queen's daughter, “They gave her a stuffed glove on a wooden lever so that you could tweak the end of the lever and this hand went to and fro. I think they thought it was rather cheeky but Her Majesty was thrilled.”
So I guess we all learned two things about Queen Elizabeth today: 1) She has a fake hand-waving machine, and 2) She has a GREAT sense of humor. Here for this side of Queen E!
