Rabiya Mateo recently stood up against a netizen who posted a negative comment about the Miss Universe Philippines 2020 titleholder wanting to become a "rich ninang."
In an Instagram post, Rabiya shared a photo of herself with the son of Miss Universe Philippines 2020 contestant Alaiza Malinao. Rabiya captioned her post, "My goal is to be the rich ninang so I can spoil all my inaanak. Akin nalang anak mo, @alaizamalinao."

While Rabiya's post garnered a positive response from Alaiza who joked, "Lapit na daw birthday niya," not all were as enthusiastic. A certain netizen commented, "You can aim quietly girl! Not so out loud!"
Rabiya responded to the netizen's comment as she wrote, "You can also keep your opinion to yourself and not make it public, right?"
The netizen in question then responded with, "Right! You can have a more likable image to the public if you keep some of your life goals more privately–just saying, kid!"

It's not the first time that Rabiya has clapped back against negative comments posted on social media. In January, Rabiya posted a photo where she wore a chef's uniform during a baking class in Baguio. The now-deleted comment reads, "Minsan beauty queen, minsan drama queen. Pero kadalasan, ambisyosa 'di naman marunong umarte, talunan pa sa MU." To which Rabiya repondend, "'Di naman siguro masama mangarap, yung masama mangbaba ng kapwa."
