Rachel Bilson And Hayden Christensen Are Having A Baby!

Rachel Bilson is pregnant.

The Hart of Dixie actress and her longtime boyfriend Hayden Christensen are "so excited" to be expecting their first child together.

A source told Us Weekly magazine: "They've both talked about this for a while and are so excited. Everyone is beyond thrilled for them."

Friends are delighted for the couple and think they will be "wonderful" parents.

One pal said: "They will make wonderful, hands-on parents."

It is not yet known when the baby is due.

The 32-year-old actress admitted last year she was keen to start a family with the Star Wars actor.

She said: "I definitely have family on the brain. Having kids is something I want to see in my future—I hope."

Rachel and Hayden, 33, met in 2007 on the set of Jumper and got engaged a year later.

They called off their engagement in August 2010 but reconciled three months later.

The former O.C. star has previously admitted she is a "really good" girlfriend because she always puts her personal life first.

She said: "I'm a really good girlfriend—I always put all that first in my life. I'm definitely the person who would make him his favorite dinner to come home to."
