On Thursday, November 17, the Baguio Regional Trial Court found Christopher Allidem Singson guilty of raping and killing Pines City Colleges student Milacar Carmela Calixto in 2015.
"Singson dumped Calixto's body near Crystal Cave in Barangay Bakakeng Central. He was later arrested after a medico-legal examination showed that his DNA was found in the remains of Calixto," reports Raymund Catindig in the Philippine Star.
Calixto was not Singson's only rape-slay victim.
The report revealed: "Court records show that Singson was sentenced to 12 years in prison in 2011 for the rape-slay of student Cheska Paronable in 2009. The sentence was suspended because Singson was only 17 when the court issued the ruling."
