Regine Velasquez is not tolerating any of the blame her husband, singer Ogie Alcasid, has been receiving ever since she suffered an accidental fall while performing.
On October 5, Wednesday, Ogie took to Twitter to share his gratitude since Regine was okay after the said fall.
"TY Lord!!!" he wrote. "Glad wifey is safe. She lost her balance while we were doing a spiel during a performance for the bday of the father of @jhongsample. She is ok and safe."
Despite confirming Regine's safety, some netizens, however, pointed out that Ogie should have been quick on his feet to have caught Regine and prevented the fall.
"Wait, ano ba akala mo sa asawa ko, si Spider-Man?" Regine reacted to one netizen's tweet. "Everything happened so fast at pa'no niya ma-anticipate na mahuhulog ako e nakatayo lang naman ako. You guys have to STOP blaming him and yes YOU are blaming him."
Other netizens came to Ogie's defense, saying he was shocked and extremely worried at that moment, and it was impossible for him to react that quickly.
In a separate tweet, Regine also expressed her frustration with people pretending to care about her and her marriage.
"By the way, nakakapagod na yung mga taong nagpapanggap na 'We care about her' and yet continue to wish my relationship with MY HUSBAND to fail," Regine wrote. "I don’t understand anymore. Well, I guess block kiti block na lang ako. Hay."
