Uh oh, there seems to be trouble brewing for volleyball star Rex Intal and his longtime girlfriend Ciacia Mendoza. The name of Rex recently skyrocketed on Twitter trends for allegedly cheating on the former Binibining Pilipinas candidate with another volleyball player Majoy Baron, and the internet is *fuming*, to say the least.
It all started when a certain netizen dropped a controversial post involving the three. “I feel so bad for Ciacia Mendoza if it’s true that Rex Intal cheated with Majoy Baron. Ang sakit lang sa part na nanahimik siya to protect these people.”
One can argue that the statement might be ~baseless~, sure, but evidence seems to state otherwise. The trending tweet was reposted by Georgia Macapagal, a person seemingly connected to Majoy and her ex-boyfriend Timothy Uichico, and her post was even liked by Timo himself.
The ~subtle confirmation~ didn’t fail to catch the attention of netizens, who couldn't help concluding that the cheating rumors are indeed true.
Ciacia kept mum about the issue but posted some cryptic tweets on her own page. “Those were my emotions talking!! Which I kept for sooo longggg to protect people. I can be reckless for my own sanity sometimes, can’t I?” she wrote.
Neither Rex nor Majoy commented about the controversy as of writing.
