Barbie Imperial and Richard Gutierrez's dating rumors just intensified this week. It looked like the two had a meal together in Italy—at least that's what a couple of photos posted online indicated.
In a September 26 Facebook post uploaded by a Filipino restaurant located in Rome, Italy, Barbie and Richard posed in front of the camera with some private individuals.
The two have long been rumored to be a ~thing~ after several sightings, and perhaps because of Richard liking almost all of Barbie's Instagram posts too.
Some noted that the rumored couple have been allegedly trying to be lowkey about their special connection, only to be revealed by a Facebook page. "Lowkey sana kaso pinost kayo ng kinainan niyong resto," one comment read.
ICYMI, weeks ago, the Internet also speculated that Barbie and Richard were strolling the streets of Italy together. Richard flew to Italy for the filming of his upcoming teleserye, Incognito. Other cast also posted about their Italy (work) trip including Maris Racal, Anthony Jennings, and Kaila Estrada.

This is not the first time that someone from Richard's family showed support for Barbie. In fact, his very own mother, Annabelle Rama, appeared to have made a sweet relationship with Barbie. Last August 1, 2024, Richard together with Annabelle were actually spotted attending Barbie's 26th birthday party. In some of the photos uploaded via Instagram, Richard and Barbie were seen sitting together. Regardless, the two are have yet to publicly address their relationship.

Amid rumors about Richard and Barbie's brewing romance, the Internet can't help but think of Richard's former partner, Sarah Lahbati—who by the way has been thriving on her own. Sarah, who's about to hit 30 on October 9, has been busy at work.
Looking back, Sarah and Richard's fallout began in late 2023 when fans spotted Sarah dropping the "Gutierrez" in her Instagram bio. Then came Sarah's unfollowing saga of the Gutierrezes. At the time, the rumor mill about Richard and Barbie also began when they were reportedly spotted at a pub in January 2024.
But after a lot of speculations and some back-and-forth cryptic tirades between Annabelle Rama and Sarah's mom, Esther Lahbati, it was Sarah who officially confirmed her controversial separation from Richard.

In March 2024, Sarah answered MJ Felipe in an interview, "Yeah, I mean. there’s nothing to hide. And I think it’s pretty clear to the public na both of us [are single]... I think."
Days before her confirmation, Sarah actually revealed that she's not on speaking terms with Richard. Despite that, they are maintaining a good co-parenting setup for their kids, Zion and Kai. Add to that the fact that Sarah declared doing good holding up with her life and her career.
"Well, of course, it's not ideal for the children, let's go back to the kids. But that's life and that'll be fine. We're good at parenting and we have, you know, we are there for the kids. That's all I'm gonna say," she said.
At the moment, Sarah just finished her first comeback teleserye in 10 years and has been slaying with her chic and fancy fits for Paris Fashion Week.
