The Internet can sometimes be an echo chamber for comments—and sometimes, outrage over celeb gossip. But Robi Domingo isn't letting those kinds of comments overshadow his happiness over a new project, as well as his friendship with Donny Pangilinan and Kathryn Bernardo.
Over the weekend, Robi was spotted replying to an online commenter who warned him of potential backlash. "@iamrobidomingo ay subukan mo lang na i-match si @donny at @bernardokath ready ready ang solid supporters ni Belle Mariano na ibash ka mula ulo mo hanggang paa. WAG MO ITOLERATE yung KA LANDIAN ng peste mong kaibigan," the comment read.
In other words, the commenter was putting out a warning for Robi not to pair Donny and Kathryn together—or else he'd be in for some serious bashing. ICYMI, Robi will be hosting a new season of the reality talent show, Pilipinas Got Talent. Donny and Kathryn have joined Eugene Domingo and Freddie "FMG" Garcia as judges of the program.
Robi was totally not having it as he directly replied to the comment, which also served as a warning to rude commenters. "Can I consider this as a threat? Can I take legal actions against this? I don't tolerate this behavior," he firmly said.
Amid the numerous praises and recognition for Robi's success for becoming the lead host for Pilipinas Got Talent, more fans of Donny's love team with Belle Mariano, DonBelle, flocked to Robi's comment section bringing mixed reactions to the Kapamilya host. Some were very apologetic about the behavior of the so-called fan of Belle, while some were quite disappointed with how Robi responded.
We quote one comment, "hi sir @iamrobidomingo, you should have reacted wisely. yknow belinda well right? i hope you know which comment is accurate & resemble the artist too. and yes as a true friend, please do something to lessen the drama. and yes we love #DonBelle :)"
Another said, "Congrats Donny and Robi... Please know that real fans of DonBelle are very supportive of this. Some may be worried but most are excited, nevertheless, we will never badmouth you Robi because we consider you as our president. Panatag nga kami dahil kasama ka ni Donny."

This isn't the first time Robi has been caught in the middle of talk surrounding Donny and Kathryn. Back in 2024, rumors swirled that Donny was allegedly courting Kathryn, with speculation growing stronger after the two were seen together at Robi's wedding.
But Robi had no intention of letting baseless gossip about his friends spread. So when a video of Donny looking at Kath started making the rounds online—prompting fans to spin their own narratives—Robi stepped in to shut it down immediately, even in the midst of his post-wedding bliss.
Speaking as if on behalf of Donny, "Just for the record: we're all friends here. We've got each other's backs. No issues, please," Robi wrote on X as he retweeted the video of Donny and Kath. The video post he retweeted actually read, "Hi @donnypangilinan, ganto ka pala pag interested ka sa babae," with Donny looking at Kath.
At the time, Donny even took his time to respond to the speculations of whether something was going on between him and Kath during the wedding. He said in an interview with TV5 journalist MJ Marfori, "Wedding ni Robi 'yun. Friends kaming lahat. I think, friends naman kami lahat sa industriya. We just had fun. We had a great time."
