Here's another piece of good news this January.
On Thursday, former Pinoy Big Brother housemate, singer, and actress Roxanne Barcelo uploaded what appeared to be a usual kalog video on her YouTube channel.
Roxanne's video, entitled "Baking Bad, Breaking Bread! Brioche Bun Attempt With The Bro", seemed to be just that, a stab at baking brioche bun with her brother, Timmy.
Somewhere in the middle of the video, after placing the buns in the oven, Roxanne makes a big announcement.
"So while those buns are in the oven, there's another bun in the oven," she said. "My bun is in the oven. Mga badidap (what Roxanne calls her followers), I just wanted you to know that I am pregnant. Ang iniisip namin ng husband ko was that it would take us a year kasi 'yun yung sabi ng OB-Gyne. It didn't take that long."
Roxanne married her non-showbiz husband in 2020. It's not clear when exactly they tied the knot, but in December, she uploaded a few flashback photos from the ceremony, after taking a break from social media. She has been keeping his identity private.
Roxanne called starting a family with her husband "the most beautiful plan to have in my life." Towards the end of the video, Roxanne asked for prayers so that their baby would be happy and healthy.
