The Internet just found another interesting detail about Ryan Bang, and it's not at all related to his comedic chops, but about how he's approaching his relationship with his non-showbiz girlfriend, Paola Grace Huyong.
Over the weekend, Ryan uploaded the first part of their recent trip to Tokyo, Japan. Ryan and Paola went to watch Taylor Swift's The Eras Tour. From Manila to Tokyo, Ryan documented everything they experienced—lining up for the check-in process, boarding the plane, even them having to use a taxi in Tokyo just to get to the airport. (FYI: Taxis in Tokyo are super expensive!)
What struck netizens the most was the fact that Ryan booked two separate hotel rooms for him and Paola.
"I reserved two rooms. Kahit sa'kin walang view, sa'yo na lang may view. Kasi ikaw pa lang sapat na 'yung view ko," he humorously told Paola in the vlog. His remark brought a smile to her face. Aww, cute!
They later proceeded to bid their momentary goodbyes. "Bye, Paola. See you sa breakfast... 7AM, 'wag ka matulog," Ryan joked.
Netizens call Ryan Bang a 'gentleman'
Although surprised by the gesture, netizens couldn't help but call Ryan a "gentleman" for booking two separate rooms. Their reactions suggest that Ryan's move was something unusual for them. Some netizens said that he must have so much respect for Paola.
"Wow, I didn't expect them to be in two separate rooms! I admire Ryan now!" someone commented.
Another remark read, "Parang hindi praktikal ang two rooms...Pero nakaka-proud si Ryan na two rooms. So gentleman and galante sa jowa kasi okay lang kahit 'di makatipid basta may respect sa jowa."
More people from the Internet gushed over the couple's first travel vlog together, saying that Ryan and Paola really are perfect for each other.

Ryan publicly introduced his girlfriend during the opening night of one of his restaurants, Paldo, last February 2024.
Talking to the press, he revealed that they met during a soccer match. And it was because of an alleged *airdrop malfunction* that led him to ask for Paola's number back then!
"Naglalaro din siya. Ako 'yung midfielder, siya 'yung striker. Pinasa ko bola sa kanya, tapos 'yung tao ko (staff) may nakunang video, naka-score kasi siya. Tapos sabi niya, 'wow first time kong nakunan ako ng video na may score, send mo sa 'kin.' Eh hindi gumagana air drop ko, send ko sa ano, ano number mo?" Ryan revealed in an interview.
At the time, the two had already met each other's parents. In fact, it was when Paola recently traveled to South Korea that she met Ryan's parents. It was also their first international trip together.
Recalling how Paola's first meeting with his parents went, Ryan said, "Siyempre nagulat sila, first time nila. In Korea, you never introduce to your parents if you really want her. Nagulat 'yung magulang ko."
