What's it about? Starring Naomi Watts, Jennifer Coolidge, and Bobby Cannavale, The Watcher was inspired by a true story which first came to light in a 2018 article by The Cut. When a family moved into their dream house in New Jersey, they started to receive anonymous threats from someone who claimed they had been tasked with watching the house ahead of its "second coming".

Dahmer Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story

What's it about? A dramatisation of the heinous true crimes of serial killer Jeffrey Dahmerwho killed 17 men and boys between 1978 and 1991. Despite becoming one of Netflix's most-watched series ever, The Jeffrey Dahmer Story received backlash for "re-traumatising" the victims' families, and potentially glorifying Dahmer's crimes.
