Ryza Starts Anew With New 'Do
After almost two years, Ryza returns to vlogging on YouTube. Her first vlog after her long break starts with Ryza talking about her struggles with post-partum depression. "Kaya nag-stop muna ako tapos nag-focus muna ako sa sarili ko. And hindi rin ako muna masyadong tumanggap ng work tapos grinab ko rin yung opportunity na iyon para maalagaan si Night."
In 2020, Ryza gave birth to her first son Night on October 31. Soon after, she and her partner Miguel Antonio Cruz concentrated on their family life including overseeing the construction of their home.
"Pero ngayon nagbabalik na ako," said Ryza as she promised recipe tips, trips, art activities for kids, and practical advice for parents on her channel.
Ryza showed the step-by-step process of shaving all her hair off at Jhen Hair Extensions. "Ganoon ako ka-committed sa character," she said. Ryza stars as Helena in Lilim, an upcoming horror film by director Mikhail Red. Heaven Peralejo, Phoebe Walker, Eula Valdez, and Nicole Omillo are also part of the cast.
She also revealed that she wanted to go bald while pregnant but wasn't allowed to do so back then. She settled to get a pixie cut instead.
Ryza's vlog ends as she calls friends and relatives to show off her hairstyle.
Ryza Gets Fans Excited For Her Return
On Instagram, Ryza shared photos of her new look in their full glory. Megan Young, Isabel Oli, and Carla Abellana left comments of their admiration, while fans agree that Ryza is stunning sans hair.
In a separate post, Ryza talks about her role in Lilim. Her character is a member of a cult whose beliefs include sporting a skinhead.
