The Internet can't help but rejoice on Sarah Geronimo's behalf as she happily shared a recent development in her relationship with her mother, Mommy Divine Geronimo.
With the brightest smile and a hearty laugh, Sarah responded to Dyan Castillejo's question of whether she was now on speaking terms with her mother. "Yes, yes. Thank you, Lord," the Popstar Royalty declared. She added, "I love you, Ma."
It was the very first time that Sarah spoke about a good relationship with her mother, ever since they reportedly had a falling out in 2020.

PEP.ph reported that Sarah and Mommy Divine's rift began after the singer-actress's secret wedding to her now-husband Matteo Guidicelli. The Popstar Royalty never hid her hurdles with her parents ever since she became a married woman.
In fact, at her sold-out concert last May 2023, she reached out to her parents in public. Celebrating 20 years in showbiz, Sarah did not forget to express her love and gratitude for her parents. She mentioned how Tatay Delfin guided her to be the performer she is today.
"Siya po ang nagturo sa akin na maging malakas, matatag, lalung-lalo na po sa pagharap sa laban ng buhay. Tatay Delfin, mahal na mahal na mahal na mahal na mahal kita. Para sayo 'Tay. I love you, Daddy," Sarah proclaimed during her anniversary concert.
Two years after tying the knot with Matteo, Sarah issued an apology letter to her parents. It was a heartfelt and sincere message, reaching out to Mommy Divine and Tatay Delfin.
"Gusto ko rin kunin ang pagkakataon na ito, sa paraan din na ito na humingi ng tawad sa aking pamilya na labis na nasaktan sa aking mga naging desisyon sa buhay. Patawad po," she humbly wrote on Instagram.
