Nothing is a better gift for Sarah Lahbati than spending the holidays with her sons, and perhaps loving herself "a little more."
On December 27, Sarah posted on Instagram a video of her savoring a cup of coffee, enjoying sea view, and writing on what seemed to be a diary.
A day after Christmas, Sarah also posted photos of her bonding time with her kids, Zion and Kai. Unlike her usual posts, she wasn't on full glam, but her smile was the widest and the prettiest when she was with her kids—even without her husband, Richard Gutierrez.
Her snaps show a sweet bonding time opening Christmas presents together with the Lahbati family, including her mother, Esther Lahbati. In one video, Sarah was also seen tightly and happily hugging her youngest son, Kai.

Sarah seems to have gotten a new car as well this Christmas. This comes after getting involved in a car incident, on the morning of December 15, 2023.
This was the first time that Sarah spent the holidays with her kids, without Richard. Their family was known to spend quality time together, whether at the beach, camping in the woods, or casually strolling around a different country.
In December 2022, the family of four bonded at the happiest place on Earth, Tokyo Disneyland. They even posted a family photo that just screams happiness. During the 2021 holiday season, Sarah and Richard were of course together in a photo with their kids. Sarah even shared that Zion wrote Christmas letters for them that year.
It was also a noticeable difference this year that Richard has not been seen with his in-laws. Last December 2020, Richard was present at the Lahbati family's Christmas gathering.
Almost a week ago, Richard posted a series of snaps that appeared to be his "proof of life." It was photos of him spending quality time with the Gutierrez fam, but without Sarah.
Earlier, his mother Annabelle Rama announced that the whole Gutierrez family will be spending the holidays in Japan. "Lahat kami pupunta ng Japan. Christmas hanggang January 3... Sama-sama buong pamilya ko minus one lang," she said in an interview.
On December 26, Richard's sister, Ruffa Gutierrez posted photos of her pre-travel moments with her daughters. In her caption, she wrote, "Traveling with the girls for the first time in a long time is priceless to me. Tokyo, here we come!"
Ruffa had also shared a set of pictures of the Gutierrez family's Christmas get-together, which included Sarah and Richard's kids, exactly on December 25.
Some netizens expressed their support for Sarah amid their obvious Christmas-away-from-each-other dilemma. One netizen said, "The simplest sarah but when shes with the gutz seems like shes not the real her...all fancy with the gutz..love how you are Sarah [sic]"
