Sarah Lahbati's mother, Esther Lahbati, openly declared her unwavering love for her daughter, amid persistent rumors about Sarah's marriage with Richard Gutierrez.
On Friday, December 22, 2023, Sarah posted a photo together with her parents, Sofia Andres and Sofia's daughter, Zoe. The five of them were seen having a meal.
In the post, Esther commented, "We Love you so much Anak. No one can hurt you! I an ready to stand for you. Being a human being i respect everyone s rights. [sic]"
Incidentally, Esther's statement comes after fiery remarks from Sarah's mother-in-law Annabelle Rama, insinuating that the actress has been spending too much money a.k.a a waldasera.
Another rumor about Sarah cheating on Richard surfaced when Ogie Diaz reported it in his showbiz news vlog. Nonetheless, Sarah has kept her graceful silence on the issues thrown at her and continued to focus on her future projects and her sons, Zion and Kai.
Speaking of her sons, the two kids were not present in Sarah's recent post. Perhaps it was due to the whole Gutierrez family's Japan trip this year, which Annabelle mentioned the first time she spoke to the press regarding the alleged Sarah-Richard split.
"Lahat kami pupunta ng Japan. Christmas hanggang January 3... Sama-sama buong pamilya ko minus one lang," Annabelle stated in an interview.
Although Annabelle once proclaimed that she is still not allowed to speak regarding the issue at hand, she has been throwing shady comments and aggressive statements since she first broke her silence.
Meanwhile, Richard has also been mum about his rumored broken marriage with Sarah. The last time netizens heard from Richard was when she thanked her mother for not giving up on her marriage and how she had been an inspiration to Richard.
"You taught us the value of family, loyalty and hard work. Thank you for never giving up on us when times are hard, never giving up on your marriage when it was tested and always choosing to fight for what is right for the family. Thank you for being brutally honest and real, that’s why you are surrounded by real friends who love and cherish you," he wrote in an Instagram post.
Amid the issues, Sarah is set to make her small-screen comeback with TV5's Lumuhod Ka Sa Lupa.
