Sarah Lahbati gracefully ends her silence after days of speculation about her possible new romantic partner.
"Again, I am single. So, of course, there will always be speculations," Sarah nonchalantly said in a video uploaded by MJ Marfori.

Dismissing allegations that the photo has romantic implications, Sarah clarified that he was just a friend. "I went to Hong Kong to experience [...] it's always been a dream of mine. I'm happy that I was able to go. That photo circulating around is my friend. I visited Hong Kong and met up with different friends there," Sarah explained.
Despite clarifying her platonic connection to the mystery man, Sarah noted that she is allowed to enjoy some time with guy friends since she is a single woman.
Sarah expressed, "But I think as a woman, we're all allowed to have guy friends. But again, it's okay to speculate because again I'm single and it's part of this whole new thing."
Most importantly, Sarah remained unbothered by speculations about the viral photo. "Is it unfair, is it bothering me? No. It takes a lot more for something to bother me," she said with a smile.

The viral photo was first reported by showbiz insider Ogie Diaz earlier this week. In a vlog, he questioned Sarah's connection to the man, which also stirred some reactions from netizens.

It was just this year that Sarah confirmed her "single" relationship status through an interview. "Yeah, I mean. there's nothing to hide. And I think it's pretty clear to the public na both of us... I think," she told MJ Felipe in an interview, also referring to her estranged husband Richard Gutierrez.
The former couple's marriage was reportedly on the rocks in late 2023 and their breakup was just confirmed in March 2024. In recent interviews as well, Sarah divulged that she was not on speaking terms with Richard. However, they have a co-parenting set up for their kids, Zion and Kai.
"Well, of course, it's not ideal for the children, let's go back to the kids. But that's life and that'll be fine. We're good at parenting and we have, you know, we are there for the kids. That's all I'm gonna say," she said.
