If you frequent social media, then you’re probably aware of the never-ending saga that is Selena Gomez and Hailey Bieber and their alleged feud over Justin Bieber. Today, Selena wants to end all the drama by posting an Instagram story defending Hailey.
"Hailey Bieber reached out to me and let me know that she has been receiving death threats and such hateful negativity," Selena wrote. "This isn't what I stand for. No one should have to experience hate or bullying."
"I've always advocated for kindness," she emphasized, "and really want this all to stop."
In a Feb. 21 Instagram Story clip, Hailey and Kylie Jenner drew flak from the internet when they posted a screenshot seemingly FaceTiming about their brows, interpreted as a shade at Selena. That’s because hours prior, the Lose You to Love Me singer posted that she "accidentally laminated" her eyebrows too much.
However, the Kardashians star cleared the air quickly and denied that they were taking a jab at Selena. "This is reaching," Kylie commented on aTikTok that explored the claim. "No shade towards Selena ever, and I didn't see her eyebrow posts! You guys are making something out of nothing. This is silly."
Selena also expressed her support and commented, "Agreed @kyliejenner It's all unnecessary. I'm a fan of Kylie!"
