SEVENTEEN is ~right here~ with some brand new music and our CARAT hearts are happy!
On July 18, the popular K-pop boy group dropped the repackaged version of their fourth studio album Face The Sun.
The repackaged album, titled Sector 17, has four new songs including "Circles", "Fallin' Flower (Korean version), "Cheers", and the lead single "_World." The music video for "_World" was also released the same day.
In a statement released to Korean press, PLEDIS Entertainment shared the *special* meaning behind the song title for the group's newest lead single, saying, "The underscore in the title opens all possibilities of how SEVENTEEN and its fans are able to interpret the world in many different ways."
"_World" is a funky R&B track co-produced and co-written by SEVENTEEN member Woozi. Vernon also participated in writing the lyrics for the song.
According to album distributor YG PLUS, domestic and overseas pre-orders for Sector 17 have already exceeded 1.2 million copies.
SEVENTEEN debuted in 2015 as a 13-member boy group under PLEDIS Entertainment. They are best known for their hit songs "Very Nice", "Don't Wanna Cry", "Clap", and many more.
In June 2022, the group kicked off their third world tour Be The Sun with a two-day concert in Seoul. The Manila leg of their tour is scheduled on October 8 and 9, 2022.
