Slater Young and Kryz Uy recently shared the situation in Cebu following the onslaught of Typhoon Odette.
The YouTuber couple drove through the city on Saturday to show the extent of the damage to properties, as well as how people have been coping so far. Slater's footage shows clips of felled trees and electrical posts, as well as people out in the streets.
"All people are carrying containers for water," Slater described. "And kanina, like, all gas stations puno."
"We are safe," he added in the caption in his IG post. "Cebu’s a mess. No power. No net. Just got signal. People are lining up for water, food, and gas. We have family members that lost their homes."
"Liteblock got looted. A lot of our employees are now homeless; using our factory as a temporary shelter for them. We’re trying to help out where we can. Praying for everyone."
Kryz shared a photo of the debris outside their house, which featured a pile of tree branches.

In a series of IG Stories, Slater also shared how thankful they are that they were safe from the storm.
"Counting our blessings," he wrote.

He also said they'd give an update on how their house fared as it's mostly made with glass walls.
"For those looking for us, we are okay," Slater noted. "A lot of friends looking for us kasi daw we live in a glass house. We're okay, guys. We'll try to give an update soon, but mahirap yung internet connections and super busy din."
