Some may think that Sofia Andres' acting career isn't the best at the moment, but for Sofia, it's actually blessing in disguise. Despite the few and rare TV comebacks throughout the years, Sofia sees it now as a better opportunity for her to focus on her family and explore more of her abilities outside the acting scene.
But this doesn't mean that she's done being an actress. It's just that she has found contentment in her career, while still aiming to reach new heights. That's what she told the PEP.ph team on September 6, 2024, during a brand event.
"I think that's the best feeling in the world—being a mom. That's the best feeling for me. And although it's going down, my career, for me, it's the best because I have time for my daughter," Sofia emotionally told the media. More than that, she emphasized how she never regretted being a mom in her early 20s.
She got pregnant with her charming daughter, Zoe, at the age of 21. She stated, "It changed my life being a mom. I know my worth now, I know what I deserve. I can now navigate my path even clearer. It's such a blessing in disguise."
And even though she's not as active on television these days, she has found comfort in being active on social media. "I'm active on social media, which I am very happy also na kahit hindi ako active on TV," she said. ICYDK, Sofia has more than 10 million followers on Instagram alone. There, she posts about her latest fashion obsessions, the portraits of her family and friends that she took, and more brand deals.

Somehow, it's her way of telling the world that she's still here and that she's working hard in anything that she does. "I'm very hardworking. I don't wanna stop in this industry. I want them to know that I'm still active, I still want to connect with other people, 'yung sa audience natin. I don't plan to stop anytime soon," Sofia declared.
Sofia Andres' acting career
Sofia has been in the industry for as long as she can remember. She entered showbiz at a young age—auditioning for TV commercials and numerous teleserye appearances in the past. But it was the teleserye, Princess and I, that introduced her to a greater audience. Then came her breakthrough portrayal of Athena in the blockbuster film, She's Dating the Gangster, together with her bestie Kathryn Bernardo, and Kath's former love team partner Daniel Padilla.
So much has happened in Sofia's life, including building a family with her beau Daniel Miranda at the age of 20 years old. But amid all of that, Sofia has remained steadfast in working hard and building her name in the vast entertainment industry. She has launched a perfume line named after her daughter, attended fashion weeks, and now has her own makeup line as well.
ICYMI too, Sofia was part of the stellar cast of the 2022 series, The Iron Heart, alongside Richard Gutierrez, Jake Cuenca, Dimples Romana, Sue Ramirez, and more.
So, regardless of having a TV project or not, Sofia feels grateful for the continuous opportunities that knock on her door. She appreciates every bit of it. "Even though hindi tuloy-tuloy na may projects and everything, but still I'm given much blessings because I appreciate the blessings going my way," Sofia concluded.
