You guys, Song Kang Ho just won big at the 75th Cannes Film Festival: He bagged the Best Actor award! Wow.
The South Korean actor received recognition for his role in the film Broker, which also stars Gang Dong Won (Peninsula), Bae Doona (The Silent Sea, Kingdom), IU aka Lee Ji Eun (Hotel Del Luna), and Lee Joo Young (Itaewon Class).

In Broker, Kang Ho plays a laundromat owner and church volunteer who runs an illegal business selling infants left behind at the church's "baby box". Things take a different turn when the baby's mom (played by IU) finds out about them and tags along to meet the potential "buyers" or adoptive parents. There are also two detectives on their trail.
This isn't Kang Ho's first time at Cannes. In fact, his 2019 film, Parasite, won the prestigious Palme d'Or, the highest prize of the film festival, making it the first South Korean movie to receive the award.
Congrats, Kang Ho!
