Cue the waterworks: after nine months of dating, Ian Somerhalder and Nikki Reed have officially tied the knot on April 26, 2015 in an intimate outdoor wedding in Malibu.
Nikki wore a dreamy white long-sleeved wedding gown custom-made by Claire Pettibone. The dress had a plunging low back and lace neckline. “Nikki was a delight to design for, and I wish the beautiful couple every happiness,” Claire said.
Ian on the other hand, looked absolutely handsome in an off-white suit.
And about the cryptic tweet? Yeah, it was totally about their wedding.

Their wedding comes a year after Nikki filed for divorce from her husband of four years, musician Paul McDonald, and two years since Ian split from long-time girlfriend and Vampire Diaries co-star, Nina Dobrev.
Insiders have revealed that instead of giving the couple wedding gifts, they asked guests to make donations to an animal charity instead.
