Taylor Swift and Selena Gomez's friendship is one of the sweetest connections we've witnessed over the years, and they’re still going strong. Ofc, they both happen to be incredibly famous and impactful pop stars, which means they share unreleased materials from their respective projects before the rest of the world gets to listen...including number one hits like Selena's "Lose You to Love Me."

"When I played her 'Lose You to Love Me' right before it came out, she and her amazing mom started to cry, and then I started crying. You know, it's very sweet," Selena told iHeart Radio of the vulnerable moment she shared with Taylor and her mom, Andrea Swift.

The self-love ballad appeared on Selena's 2020 album, Rare, and became her first number one song on the Billboard Hot 100 chart in November 2019. It was written by Selena, Julia Michaels, and Justin Tranter, and produced by Mattman & Robin and FINNEAS.

Once I Said I Love You First dropped, Taylor broke her 100-day streak of not posting to social media to congratulate the couple on their album.

"@selenagomez & @itsbennyblanco I LOVE THIS ALBUM SO MUCH OH MY GODDDDDDDDDDDD," Taylor wrote on her March 21 Instagram Stories. And, in an incredibly real move, she also included a link to stream the album on Spotify.

Selena and Taylor met in 2008, when they dated Nick and Joe Jonas as teens. They've been thick as thieves ever since, and Sel dished about the early days of their friendship during a 2017 interview with KISS.

"It was amazing, because she was the girl with the big curly hair and all the bracelets and the cowboy boots," she said at the time. "And I was definitely up-and-coming, and we just clicked. It was the best thing we got out of those relationships."

Well, one thing's for sure: this duo will never go out of style.
