On November 28, 2020, the first episode of the K-drama The Uncanny Counter was released. Two years after and we're excited to report that a sequel is *confirmed*! Some of the cast members from the first season are positively reviewing the offer, while two new actors are in talks to join them.
Here's everything you need to know The Uncanny Counter 2:
What's the plot of The Uncanny Counter?
If you like a webtoon-based series that's superhero-flavored, then The Uncanny Counter is just right up your alley. Led by four noodle shop employees, this ~extraordinary~ bunch does not only serve bowls of hot noodle soup but also justice. They are demon slayers with special powers...and a mop of curly hair at that. Savage yet cute, right?

The first season of The Uncanny Counter was such a hit that it became OCN's highest-rating K-drama during the time it was aired! For its epilogue, the plot is not yet announced but we're pretty sure that there will still be a lot of supernatural ~things~ in the storyline.
Who's in the cast of The Uncanny Counter 2?
Kim Sejeong and Jo Byeong Gyu, who portrayed Do Ha Na and So Moon in The Uncanny Counter, were picked to star again in the drama's sequel. According to their respective agencies, both are positively reviewing the offers.

Following the global success of Extraordinary Attorney Woo, The Uncanny Counter 2 might just be Kang Ki Young's next project! Actor Jin Suk Kyu—whom you've seen in Kingdom and Space Sweepers—is also in talks to join him.

When and where can we watch The Uncanny Counter 2?
The Uncanny Counter was released on OCN (and Netflix) from 2020 to 2021, a.k.a the South Korean broadcasting channel that's home to the best crime thrillers (like Strangers From Hell, Save Me, and Black). The sequel will reportedly air via tvN, and the drama's schedule will be shared as soon as the cast is finalized. While waiting, you can read The Uncanny Counter's webtoon version here.
