It’s official: Tom Holland and Zendaya are engaged. TMZ reports that Tom proposed "between Christmas and New Year's" in what they describe as "very intimate setting in one of Zendaya's family homes in the United States."

The outlet also says, "Tom didn't make a huge show of the engagement" and "it was very romantic and intimate"—just the two of them. Meanwhile, the two "haven't started planning their wedding yet," which makes sense given they got engaged mere weeks ago.

Another source told People that "everyone close to them knew an engagement was happening" and that Tom wanted to propose to Zendaya "for a while."
"He's always been crazy about her. He always knew she was the one. They have something very special," People's source said, adding that they'll take their time to tie the knot. "They will just enjoy things for now and won't rush a wedding. They are both busy with work projects."
This happy news comes not even 24 hours after Zendaya walked the Golden Globes red carpet wearing a ring on her left finger—which obviously set off engagement speculation.

Zendaya's engagement ring from Tom Holland
According to DeuxMoi, Zendaya's ring is from UK-based jeweler Jessica McCormack and is likely worth six figures. Neil Dutta, managing director at engagement ring specialists Angelic Diamonds told Cosmo, "Zendaya's appearance at the Golden Globes has certainly got everyone talking, and for good reason. That ring is impossible to miss! The ring appears to feature a substantial cushion-cut diamond, likely around 5 carats, set in an east-west orientation. This modern twist on a classic cut is very on-trend for 2025."

Oh, and while we're here with a reminder that Zendaya also debuted a tiny "t" tattoo at the Golden Globes, which we'll be assuming stands for "Tom" until someone tells us otherwise. Kay, bye while we go cry (happiness).
