It's official! Tracy Perez is Miss World Philippines 2021! The beauty queen from Cebu will represent the country at the 70th Miss World pageant on December 16, 2021 which will be held at Coliseo de Puerto Rico Jose Miguel Agrelot, the largest indoor venue in Puerto Rico. She succeeds reigning queen Michelle Dee who was crowned Miss World Philippines back in 2019.
Jamaica's Toni-Ann Singh is currently Miss World having been crowned in 2019. She joins past titleholders that include actresses Priyanka Chopra and Aishwarya Rai. In the pageant's almost seven-decade run, the Philippines only has one crown, won by Megan Young in 2013. Notably, Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray also vied for the Miss World title in 2016 but she only finished in the Top 5 of the competition.
