Remember in 2016 when Gong Yoo's zombie thriller Train To Busan became a massive hit worldwide? Yup, still not over that ~ending~. Anyway, we've got good news for you: The movie's sequel, Train 2 Busan: Peninsula, is set to be released real soon in Philippine cinemas, according to the Facebook page Viewer's Choice Philippines. Although there's no exact date yet, mark your calendars for July 2020.

Train 2 Busan: Peninsula is set four years after South Korea's zombie outbreak in Train To Busan, and stars Kang Dong Won, Kwon Hae Hyo, Lee Jung Hyun, Kim Min Jae, Go Kyo Hwan, Kim Do Yoon, Lee Re, and Lee Ye Won.
While Metro Manila was placed under General Community Quarantine starting today, June 1, theaters and cinemas still remain closed. It is only under the Modified General Community Quarantine when theaters and cinemas can be opened but with a limited capacity.
