There's no doubt that 2022 is a *good* year for K-dramas and we can't wait to list down all of our faves so far! But before we get to that, we have more series to look forward to—and new love teams to swoon over.
Check out these K-drama pairs that we're excited to watch this year:
1. Song Joong Ki and Shin Hyun Been in The Chaebol's Youngest Son
Welcome to the lives of the *super* rich! Song Joong Ki will play Yoon Hyun Woo, a man who came from a chaebol family. He was betrayed by them, and so he plans to plot revenge and take over their business. Shin Hyun Been is starring as justice-driven prosecutor Seo Min Young who developed a love-hate relationship with Hyun Woo.

2. Jeon Yeo Been and Lee Dong Hwi in Glitch
Did anyone say alien-themed K-drama? In this Netflix Original, Jeon Yeo Been is a woman who can see the extraterrestrial. When her boyfriend (portrayed by Lee Dong Hwi) mysteriously disappears, she asks the help of her childhood friend (After School's Nana) who is actually searching for aliens. Glitch will premiere on Netflix this October 7.

3. Super Junior's Siwon and Lee Da Hee
Here's a friends-turned-lovers story: Love Is For Suckers is about two BFFs named Goo Yeo Reum and Park Jae Hoon who know each for 20 years. They only realized their feelings for each other after working together on a reality dating show.

4. SHINee's Minho and Chae Soo Bin
Calling all fashionistas! Netflix's The Fabulous starring SHINee's Minho and Chae Soo Bin will revolve around the fashion world and the dreams, love, and friendships of those who are in it.

5. Kang Ha Neul and Ha Ji Won
Soompi describes Curtain Call: Trees Die On Their Feet as a K-drama about "an elderly woman from North Korea who doesn't have much time left to live and a theatre actor (Kang Ha Neul) who acts as her grandson in order to fulfill her final wish." Ha Ji Won will transform into a hotel's general manager who is also an heir.

6. Hyeri and Lee Jun Young
The fantasy drama Ildangbaek Butler will take us to the stories of the deceased. Hyeri is a funeral director named Baek Dong Joo while Lee Jun Young is her co-worker Butler Kim, the only employee at Ildaengbaek.
