Even at the young age of 19, Venice Bektas is all about being her most confident self. It’s evident in her posts on Instagram, where she unapologetically dresses however she wants. However, her fashion choices, not to mention her celebrity kid status, have made her an easy target for body shamers, some of whom criticize her for wearing revealing clothes and attributing it to a lack of self-respect.

If Venice seems wise beyond her years, she credits her mom’s upbringing with teaching her how to deal with criticism and not letting the unkind words get to her. "I feel like because my mom was very strict, and I'm honestly glad she was very strict, so with social media, I was only allowed to have social media once I turned 13."

"So I feel like once I was 13, I kind of had a gist of what to do. I had common sense na medyo. And I think it's benefited me positively. Yes. So I think it's been good."
