Venus Raj recently had a beautiful surprise for the public.
On December 10, Sunday, the 2010 Miss Universe fourth runner-up took to IG to share the wonderful news that she's settling down very soon.
"There is blessing in waiting," Venus wrote, featuring her pre-wedding photos with her non-showbiz boyfriend. She looked stunning in a lilac number.
Venus went on to share how it took her eight years before she entered a romantic relationship again, something that she entrusted to God. During those years, she served communities and her family, until the "right time" finally arrived. In 2021, Venus graduated from the UK-based Oxford Centre for Christian Apologetics, which offers programs touching on Christian faith and evangelism. Venus is a born-again Christian.
"The Lord brought me to a beautiful journey of grace, joy, learning, trials, challenges, loneliness, and victories."
"God is indeed the giver of good gifts, He knows His timeline for my life, and the right time has finally come."
Venus noted that she is set to tie the knot in a few days with the man that God intended for her.
"We have a future ahead of us, it will not be perfect, but God is the anchor that will keep [it] secure."
To single ladies yearning to meet "the one," Venus reminded them to have faith in God's plan for them.
"If you are still single and praying to the Lord for marriage, please know that God hears your prayers and He knows the desires of your heart. The answer might be — wait, yes, or no, but one thing is for sure, He knows what’s best for you. Trust His process."
