Vhong Navarro may soon be moving to Taguig City Jail.
The Regional Trial Court (RTC) has apparently junked the actor's motion to continue staying at the detention center of the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) in Taguig City.
A report by PhilStar confirms that Atty. Howard Calleja, who will be taking over as the lead legal counsel of former model Deniece Cornejo, showed the RTC ruling that the motion lacked merit.

Deniece's camp previously pointed out that Vhong should be moved to Taguig City Jail, as it was Taguig City that issued the warrant of arrest for rape.
In an interview with members of the media, Vhong's wife, Tanya Bautista, shared that Vhong was overly "emotional" when she was about to leave during her last visit.
"Dinig ko talagang humagulgol na siya," Tanya noted. "Kasi 'yon na. First time yung gano'n. Kasi nga mag-isa siya. Sabi ko nga sa iyo, bumabalik na naman yung trauma niya."
The criminal charge filed against Vhong claims that he allegedly got Deneice drunk and raped her in her condominium in January 2014. The Department of Justice had previously dismissed model Deniece Cornejo's rape complaint against Vhong due to inconsistencies in her statements, but the Court of Appeals has invalidated this dismissal.
