ICYDK, KaladKaren is set to wed her prince charming Luke Wrightson this year. It's been four years since he first proposed to KaladKaren, and now the wait is finally over. So amid the busy schedule and prepping szn for the much-awaited wedding, KaladKaren's friends threw her a surprise bridal party. The Cosmopolitan Philippines Women of Influence 2024 awardee shared several photos and videos of her bridal party.
Her Instagram post read, "Prince Charming lang ang ipinagdasal ko pero hindi lang iyon ang ibinigay ni Lord… may bonus pang mga taong nagmamahal at gusto kang makitang masaya."
At the event, Vice Ganda congratulated the gorgeous bride-to-be, and noted how KaladKaren and Luke's wedding is one of the things everyone should be celebrating. As someone who had a wedding commitment ceremony with her partner, Ion Perez, outside the Philippines, Vice sends KaladKaren all the love and support for the new journey that's to come. Aside from her heartfelt speech for KaladKaren, it was also revealed that Vice was the major sponsor for the surprise bridal shower for KaladKaren.

KaladKaren thanked Vice and wrote on her IG caption, "Thank you Meme Vice @praybeytbenjamin dahil ipiniramdam mo sa akin na deserve natin maging masaya, mahalin at magmahal. Ikaw din ang major sponsor ng surprise bridal shower na ito at sabi mo nga, dahil wala si Luke ay ikaw na rin ang "groom" kagabi!"
She continued to express gratitude for her friends who have been with her through ups and downs, and through all the seasons of her life and even in her relationship with Luke.
"Napakasaya ng puso ko," the actress-TV host said.

It was just recently that KaladKaren and Luke announced that they had a second marriage proposal in the middle of London, United Kingdom—and again, KaladKaren was surprised.
Originally, the couple was just supposed to take prenup photos but Luke had something sweeter in mind,
"Proposal 2.0!!! Heart is full, hand is heavy! #TheWrightsons. I thought it was just an ordinary prenup shoot! Sobrang gulat ko nang muli siyang nag-propose here in our favorite city at may ring upgrade!!!! Huhuhu Worth the wait! You make me the happiest, my love!"," KaladKaren said when she shared the kilig-worthy moment on her Instagram last July 25, 2024.
Indeed, KaladKaren and Luke have gone a long way since they got together in 2012. After eight years of being together, Luke first popped the question in September 2020. inside their home, in the middle of a lockdown.
