ICYMI, Vickie Rushton and Jason Abalos are officially engaged!
The beauty queen and former Pinoy Big Brother housemate announced the exciting news on Instagram today, June 2. She posted a photo of her and Jason hugging while showing off the diamond ring on her finger. "So, Baba and I have been keeping a little secret," she wrote. "When the time is right I, the Lord, will make it happen. Isaiah 60:22" It looks like Jason popped the question by a river!
Meanwhile, Jason also posted about the happy occasion as he wrote: "Habambuhay ko pasasalamatan ang Panginoon sa buhay mo Baba. Patugtugin na ang kampana." The actor also revealed that they got engaged on September 1, 2021.
Fellow celebrities Sue Ramirez, Pia Wurtzbach, Max Collins, and more were quick to express their sincerest congratulations to the two!
Jason and Vickie have been dating for over a decade. In July 2021, Jason opened up about how he feels it's finally time for him and Vickie to focus on their relationship, following the beauty queen's retirement from pageants.
