On March 15, 2021, longtime couple Vin Abrenica and Sophie Albert became first-time parents to a baby girl whom they fondly call their "little princess." Although they've been quite low-key on their social media updates (as of writing, they haven't revealed the name of their daughter nor have shown a picture of her face), new daddy Vin gushed about being a girl dad in a recent interview.
Vin Abrenica's fatherhood feels
According to ABS-CBN, the 29-year-old actor had a virtual press con to promote his upcoming film, Nelia. Vin spoke freely about fatherhood and said he hasn't had much sleep being a hands-on dad but finds it totally rewarding nonetheless! "Eto puyat, no sleep! I'm quite used to it dahil ako nagpapalit sa younger siblings ko before," he revealed. "First two to three days, naduduling na ako but now kasi kahit nakakapagod, it's very rewarding. Every second sinusulit ko, sobrang sarap lang every moment of my life."
He went on to share how inspired he is now and how he loves his parents even more after being a dad: "Mas inspired talaga ako ngayon. I realized that I'm not living my life for myself anymore. At lalo kong minahal ang parents ko kasi hindi pala biro maging magulang."
Vin Abrenica gushes about his little princess on Instagram
Vin recently shared a couple of Instagram posts with his daughter. A few days ago, he shared a precious video of him cradling his daughter and wrote in the caption, "Day 2 at home with my little princess. This is by far my best and my most favorite morning ritual. So grateful for these moments. Lord Jesus, please continue to protect and guide my beautiful baby."
In the comments section, his fiancée Sophie dropped a comment saying he is the "best daddy." His showbiz friends—who also happen to be dads themselves—Hashtag's Nikko Natividad and Mark Herras both commented about fatherhood being the "best feeling" ever.

And on Insta Stories, Vin showed another video of him holding his daughter and said that her smile "melted daddy's heart."

Too cute! We can't wait to see more girl dad moments of yours, Vin!
