Teresita Ssen "Winwyn" Marquez, actress, beauty queen, and Reina Hispanoamericana 2017 titleholder, is making a highly anticipated return to the pageant stage. She's set to compete in the Miss Universe Philippines 2025, representing Muntinlupa City.
According to a GMA News report, Winwyn confirmed her participation during a media launch at EDSA Shangri-La in Mandaluyong City. She revealed that she's been training for two to three months, preparing herself for what she believes to be the "right moment" to take on the most-awaited competition.
"I'm really someone who takes on opportunities, especially when it feels right," Winwyn said.

After her hard-won victory in Reina Hispanoamericana 2017, Winwyn expressed her strong desire to return to pageantry and compete for a chance to represent the Philippines on the Miss Universe stage. "I've grown into someone who now embodies strength, compassion, and competence," Winwyn responded when asked about her comeback.
She also emphasized that dreams have no expiry date—a powerful message she hopes to inspire others with, especially as a mother.
"I am here to prove that dreams do not have an expiry date. I want my daughter to see me as someone who chased and never gave up on her dreams," she said.
Winwyn acknowledged the risks that come with joining such a highly competitive pageant but shared that what scares her more is the thought of living with "what if."
"That is why I am here. I also want people to understand that it is never too late to take a chance on yourself, that I do not just represent the crown, I represent the limitless potential of every individual," she powerfully closed.
ICYDK, Winwyn is already a mother to her baby girl, Luna. Just a few days ago, she posted a heartfelt appreciation for her daughter, sharing how Luna is her driving force and inspiration. "I want you to grow up to be someone who makes a difference in the world.. sabi nga ni dada mo you are our world changer," Winwyn captioned.
"We will always do our best to guide you and to be there for you no matter what and I’ll always try to be the kind of Mama you can look up to.. someone na you’ll always be proud of," she added.
