In December 2023, Xian Lim and Kim Chiu confirmed their breakup through heartfelt Instagram posts. They were together for almost 12 years, and many mourned the end of their relationship.
In February 2024, dating rumors emerged between Xian and Iris Lee, Senior Associate Producer at Viva Communications Inc. A motorcycle driving school uploaded the viral photo on their Facebook page the day before Valentine's Day. In the pic, Xian was spotted posing with his arm around Iris' shoulder, while Iris was holding Xian's hand.
In his May 2024 Esquire Philippines cover story, the actor-host opened up about his current relationship status, putting all rumors to rest.
"Yes, I’m seeing Iris," he confirmed. "Just to clear everything, to clear all the speculations. We are seeing each other and we are very happy." According to Xian, Iris is a talented filmmaker. "She's my producer and she's also my creative partner."
Xian also set the record straight and addressed the breakup rumors that began spreading around December 2023. He clarified that he and Iris only started dating after he and Kim broke up. "There's no third party. That's it. That plain and simple."
Asked about his thoughts on love and relationships in general, Xian noted that when he is seeing someone, he goes all out. "That's how I love. Kung magmahal ako, lubos, buong kaluluwa."
