Laguna is making history as it sends not just one, not two, but three Filipina beauty queens to Miss Universe Philippines 2025—including Yllana Marie Aduana from Siniloan, Laguna.
This marks a powerful comeback for Yllana, who last competed in Miss Earth 2023, where she reached the Top 4 but fell short of the crown. Now, she's setting her sights on the Miss Universe Philippines title, determined to make an even bigger impact.
Joining her in the competition are Rendelle Ann Caraig from Los Baños and Eloisa Jauod, representing Laguna province.
"Ultimately grateful for the Miss Universe Philippines and the @muphlaguna Organization for putting their trust in me.. Truly honored and grateful when I heard that it’s also the first time a Municipality is represented by a delegate in the MUPH stage!" Yllana shared in an emotional Instagram post on February 3, the night she was officially crowned.
"Mga mahal ko, today I can faithfully and officially say, I was listening all along. I heard you all. And I AM READY for this journey with you all!" she added, addressing her supporters.

During her victory night, Yllana also delivered a heartfelt message to her fans, acknowledging their unwavering support throughout her pageant career—a force she credits for keeping her motivated.
"During my last pageant competition, I was able to witness the spirit of bayanihan, and how the support of the Filipino people can really take you to a level really unimaginable and can really make you unstoppable," she reflected.
"So at this point in time, I’m really utilizing this love, warmth, and support from the Filipino people to fuel my Miss Universe Philippines journey," she added.

Yllana Marie Aduana To Compete At The Miss Universe Philippines 2025
Although Yllana did not take home the Miss Earth 2023 crown, her performance did not disappoint. Known for "eating the microphone" with her eloquence and impressive answers, she once again lived up to that reputation on the Miss Earth competition.
During the final Q&A portion, Yllana was asked: "An official at a recent climate conference was quoted as saying there is no science behind coals for the phaseout of fossil fuels. Do you agree with this? Why or why not?"
"As someone who is from the medical field, I do believe that everything roots from science. And I think that the greatest gift that we have in this generation is the sophisticated technical installations that we have, and so there is science in the phaseout of fossil fuels," Yllana confidently began.
"But one thing that we can also agree on is we can always live the zero-waste and sustainable lifestyle. I've always been practicing it because sustainability will always ensure the stability in our future. And if we can master the transferability skills from a just phaseout, then we will have a greener and more sustainable future," she emphasized.
Beyond her strong Q&A performance, Yllana also proved her presence in other categories of the competition. She placed Top 5 in Best Appearance, won Miss Earth 2023's Best Bikini, and secured a spot in the Top 12 Best National Costume category.
