Ynna Asistio is one proud new mom as she gave birth to her firstborn Ava Zafina Carbonell on October 26 via normal delivery.
Ava Zafina is Ynna's first child with Bully Carbonell and in an Instagram post on November 2, the actress shared that she got confined a few weeks ago due to pre-term labor and was on strict bed rest for two weeks. On October 25, her bag ruptured, and was in labor for 15 hours.
"Ngayon ko lang naiintindihan yung sinasabi nila na grabe and experience of giving birth," Ynna wrote. "Life-changing and it made me realize how amazing it is to be a mother. All the pain and contractions and IE was all worth it."
She added, "First time I saw you baby nawala lahat ng pain. You came so early pero ang perfect ng timing mo!"
In a follow-up post on November 3, Ynna and Bully shared that they were finally able to take Ava Zafina home. The actress thanked her mom, Nadia Montenegro for the warm welcome.
Nadia also shared a sweet moment with her granddaughter as she quoted the Savage Garden song "I Knew I Loved You."
Ynna announced that she and Bully were expecting their first child a day after they tied the knot in August 2022.
