WARNING: *Major* spoilers ahead for All Of Us Are Dead! Don't read if you haven't seen the drama yet.
BRB, adding Yoon Chan Young and Yoo In Soo to our ~growing list~ of Korean celebrity friendships! But unlike some of the Korean BFFs we know who starred in the same project as friends, this duo is *unique* because their characters in All Of Us Are Dead are actually sworn enemies.
The webtoon-based drama (which, btw, is at the top spot of Netflix's global charts for days) tells the story of a group of students who are trapped in a school during a zombie outbreak. Chan Young plays the brave Lee Cheong San, who will do anything for the people he cares for.

On the other hand, In Soo portrays Yoon Gwi Nam, the total opposite of Cheong San. He's a bully in Hyosan High School who will stab you—literally—no matter who you are.

We never expected them to be each other's rivals (TBH, we were looking forward to Gwi Nam and Eun Ji's ~battle~), but surprise, surprise: The last episodes of the drama showed Gwi Nam chasing Cheong San to plot his revenge, come hell or high water. They really said an eye for an eye. LOL!
Chan Young and In Soo's scenes were so intense that we were amazed to know that they're BFFs pala IRL! The two revealed this during All Of Us Are Dead's press con.

According to In Soo, they're very close friends and they talk to each other every day. So when he found out that Chan Young removed his character's nametag on his phone, he was ~hurt.~ Chan Young said that the sticker got wet and so he changed it to Park Ji Hu's character (On Jo) to show their onscreen relationship. In Soo then replied: "That makes absolutely no sense. The stickers are all waterproof, they were very well-made. So he’s lying and I’m hurt is all I’m going to say." Ang cute nila!

Since they spend a lot of time together, Chan Young and In Soo enjoy going to noraebangs (Korean-style karaoke) to sing love ballads for hours. They like singing old songs, particularly tracks by Korean balladeer Lee Moon Sae. "In Soo actually recommended a really good song to me, and I just fell in love with it. I've been listening to it for the past year," said Chan Young.
P.S: The training for All Of Us Are Dead was so hard that they both threw up in the first 20 minutes: "I went to the bathroom and I threw up, and I was coming out and I saw someone else who was also vomiting. So we could check what we ate for breakfast. It was Chan Young." Best friends forever, indeed!

Aaaaand earlier today, In Soo showed us their solid friendship by sharing their pics on Instagram! You guys, we haven't moved on from the fact that they were at each other's throat in All Of Us Are Dead but we're happy to see them happy. What's better than working with your BFF on the same project, right?
