Laureen Uy and Miggy Cruz shared one of the most heartbreaking moments of her life. Laureen posted a heartfelt letter dedicated to their first baby girl. The couple recently announced that Laureen had suffered from a miscarriage. They named their daughter, Miles.
"To our baby girl Miles, From the moment we found out we were pregnant with you, Dad and I were overcome with joy," Laureen began in her Instagram post. "It was the best news of our lives—a love so immense and instant, it's hard to put into words. You filled our hearts in a way we'd never known before."
It was back in October 2024 when Laureen and Miggy happily announced that they were about to become a family of three. Laureen expressed how they prepared for her pregnancy and how excited they were as first-time parents.
"As the weeks went by, our excitement grew. We did everything we could to make sure you were safe and comfortable in my womb. Everything Dad and I did, we shared with you, imagining all the memories we’d make as a family. We pictured holding you in our arms, kissing your tiny hands, singing you to sleep, and exploring the world together—a family of three. We couldn't wait for that future," Laureen detailed.
Laureen called it the worst day of her life. But, as if trying to look into a more positive outlook amid their loss, she powered through it with the statement, "Even so, we are so grateful to have been your parents, even for a short time. You'll forever be our daughter, our little angel. Though we grieve, we also hold on to faith."
The vlogger grieved, "Even now, it feels like a nightmare I can't wake up from. But this is our reality, and it's a pain I never thought I'd have to bear. [...] Losing you isn't just about the hopes and dreams that slipped away—it's the heartbreak of losing you, our precious baby girl. There are no words to describe the depth of this pain."
Laureen ended her message to Miles with much love and hope for the future. "We trust that you are now in the hands of our Lord, surrounded by peace and love. And we believe He has a plan for us—a future where your memory will forever remain a part of our story. We love you endlessly, Miles. Forever and ever," she wrote.

Laureen and Miggy got married in April 2024. They had one of the most scenic and wonderful beach weddings we've seen. Their family, friends, and everyone who's loved Laureen the blogger have celebrated their wedding. The same people cheered when Laureen announced the pregnancy to the world.
With much excitement, Laureen shared the candid moment of letting her hubby know that they were already expecting a baby. "So when I found out, I wanted to tell Miggy right away...so I thought of the quickest surprise to give him which is to write on a shirt that says 'preggers,'" she said in her vlog. It was such a priceless moment.
Now, as Laureen shared bits about the most heartbreaking moment in her life, messages of support poured in for the couple. Laureen thanked them in an IG Story expressing, "To all the people who sent me a dm, thank you for the encouraging words. Really appreciate you all."
